Canoe renting

Canoeing on the Lake of Skanderborg. Rent one of Danhostel Skanderborg’s canoes and venture out on a day trip with family or friends.

The trip starts at Danhostel Skanderborg.

All ages can have a magnificent nature experience by taking a canoe trip through Tåning A to Mossø. There is a lot to both look at and listen to on the way. Here there is many plants and animals, including the rare kingfisher and the nocturnal otter. At the end of the river in Mossø, you will find Fuldbro Mill.

Enjoy your packed lunch at the picnic area at Mossø, approx. 500 meters from the mill. The trip is expected to take approx. 5-6 hours incl. lunch at Mossø.

Danhostel Skanderborg only rents canoes out to and from Skanderborg Lake – canoes are not available to be delivered or picked up by car.

Prices on hourly basis: kr. 100,- pr. Started hour
Price pr. Day (8.00-19.00): kr. 300,-
Weekend trip (Friday 14:00-Sunday 19:00): kr. 600,-

Lifejackets and paddles are included in the prices.

All our canoes are certified and approves by Statens Skibstilsyn for 400 kg (Maximum 3 people per canoe – including children). Our lifejackets are Helly Hansen and special Compas canoes.

We have extensive experience with both small and large groups. We are your safe choice, when it comes to canoeing. We will help with suggestions on where to go and will tailor your trip after your wishes and needs. Everybody gets an introduction to the canoes and the paddles, so everybody feels comfortable on the water. The amazing experience you, as a group, will have on the water creates a connection between you, while you enjoy the wonderful surroundings.
