Danhostel Skanderborg welcomes you in the beautiful beech forest. Spend the night by the shores of Skanderborg Lake in the middle of the Lake-Highlands – one of the most beautiful places to find peace for the soul and body.

Are you a fisher, tourist, course participant or a family on vacation? Then there is a place in the deep, quiet tranquility of the forest, where you will find a large garden and a beach with a bridge stretching into the lake of Skanderborg. The lake is one of the world’s best for fishing, and the shores are child-friendly with shallow water. From here, you enjoy the view to grey herons, kayaks and the 10 red log cabins. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Lake-highlands with short distance to city life and attractions for all ages.

Cabin A

Size of the cabin: 48 m²

Spacious and modern cabin with two separate bedrooms with a loft with two single-beds.

Facilities: Cabin type A has a large kitchen-dining room, containing a kitchen with coffee machine, oven, fridge, freezer and cutlery for six people. There is a dining table with room for 6 people, a sofa with a table. All cabins have TV and Wi-Fi.

The cabins have their own bathrooms, along with two rooms, where one of the rooms is with a double bed. The cabin has its own spacious terrace with furniture. Towels and linen is possible to rent for a small fee.

Spacious cabin with a cozy cottage feel, with its own terrace with furniture, bathroom and kitchen.

Facilities: Cabin type B has a large kitchen-dining room with coffee machine , oven, a fridge along with cutlery for 6 people. There is a dining table with room for 6 people, a sofa with a table. All cabins have TV and Wi-Fi. The cabins have their own bathrooms, along with two rooms.

The cabin has a private terrace with direct view over the lake of Skanderborg.
